Recovery when laptop password to my Dell inspiron or HP pavilion lost

Updated 3 June 2016 : Recovery for your laptop password can be more  time consuming  when you set it up with your hotmail email login/password. I set mine up with a local password. However there are ways and customs software  to reset your pass or even bypass your  “login password” if you need to.

What you may be looking for if you lost your password

I just bought a laptop last week . It was a hard decision choosing the right laptop, with so many brand competing for my attention , I had to narrow down my choice from  a range of brands like  ASUS , Lenovo , DELL , HP ,ACER to a narrowed down choice of DELL and HP as they came nearest to what I needed.

However the bigger and more pressing problem I encountered was losing my password on my DELL Inspiron laptop immediately two days after buying it  as i have so many passwords and got confused which one i used.

I was lucky that I did not create a login with my Hotmail or email id , as I was able to use a custom paid software to reset my password with ease .  This software can also bypass/reset your existing password and set it to no  password ,so you can just login and set up a new one You can also get it here .

So just lets get on with my choice of new laptop.  So, the first thing I wanted my laptop to have was some decent power to edit some videos now and then for my part time internet marketing job and also have enough power to multi task browsing and downloading while this is going on. I decided on the DELL inspiron and below are the factors that I researched before buying the dell inspiron.

HP pavilion and Acer Notebooks came pretty close to comparison in price and specs that I was looking for when I made the choice for Dell inspiron. Surprisingly SONY and Macbooks have priced themselves out of this big LAPTOP market and so do not feature in front pages on online websites , of many big tech retailers like JB HI FI and Harvey Norman

Back to how I decided to choose my Laptop

Choosing the processor ( the part that runs stuff – the engine)

So I was told by the experts NO Intel\ Celeron Processor. So it had to be either a Intel Core i3 or i5 processor. I settled for the i5 processor (4th Generation Intel Core i5-4210U Processor ) as the price range was also sweet $590 and this processor can do the jobs I need with ease. You can also choose a AMD processor with similar specs if you want o broaden your options.

4th Generation Intel Core i5-4210U Processor

Next was ram ( Helps smoother and faster running of PC laptop – its not he hard drive)

The ram was needed to be at least 4 gb ram , so this was a no brainer . most new laptops support this now.

Space or hard drive ( 1 Terabyte)

This is important it this new day and age of high graphic intensity games and also blue ray movies. You need a Big hard disk to accommodate big games and bigger movies and high definition recording and pics from you smartphone which all takes up a lot of space. So it has to be a Minimum of at least 500 GB , but I went a got a whopping 1 TB, as it came standard with my choice of laptop

Operating system (windows 8.1 – really!!)

I was ecstatic when I got windows 8.1 version with my laptop, but soon regretted it . I am still learning to use it and find it a bit harder to sue than windows 7 , but that should hopefully change with time.

Webcam & wifi

A webcam on a laptop is necessary to keep in touch cheaply with your family locally or overseas or on holidays. So a basic webcam included with most laptops does the job for this. You need wifi to connect to your home Wifi or then a hotel a or a friends wifi when your travelling or visiting for free or paid internet access. So this had to be ticked as well.

Bluetooth

This was kinda optional for me, but it was included so good . Bluetooth makes it easy to connect stuff wirelessly or send stuff to and fro from the laptop with ease.
